Kaitlin lives in Sherman and loves being involved in the community. She enjoys spending time with her two brothers and good friends, as well as going to Sonic Happy Hour with her Mimi every chance she gets.
“All children need a champion, and mine has always been my Mimi. When I was thirteen years old, my Mimi was diagnosed with stage four breast cancer with a life expectancy of six months… I quickly began to realize how much, how quickly, and how deeply breast cancer can affect a person, a family, and a community. Six months turned into thirteen years, with countless ups and downs. My Mimi fights with grace, faith, and the determination that ‘God’s not done’ with her yet. I am glad to be a part of an organization that helps others keep their mothers, sisters, daughters, aunts, and Mimi’s happy and healthy for as long as they can.”
