Mary Alexander, MSN, RN, CBCN® joined Women Rock Inc’s Board of Directors in October 2022. She brings more than 30 years of experience in oncology nursing to Women Rock. A Certified Breast Care Nurse, Mary is a Clinical Nurse Educator for Puma Biotechnology and has been employed in the pharmaceutical industry since 2002.

Prior to that, Mary was an Oncology Clinical Nurse Specialist in Medical Breast Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Center. She obtained both her BS and MS in Nursing from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and is currently pursuing her Post-Master’s Certificate in Nursing Education at the University of Texas at Arlington. She is a member of the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) and has been involved in leadership of several local ONS chapters and other non-profit organizations. Mary is an advocate for all people with a cancer diagnosis, particularly breast cancer. She is passionate about ensuring that anyone affected is fully informed about their disease process and understands all treatment options.
