In partnership with the Austin College Center for Regional and Community Development, our first annual Texoma Breast Health Summit will be held at the Wright Campus Center on November 7th. 8:00am-5:00pm.

Our keynote speaker is from Houston and is a 4 time cancer survivor. She was part of a very successful task force that met with members of the black community to increase participation in early detection procedures. She will be giving her personal testimony, and also tell us about their project. Our area has one of the highest incidence of breast cancer mortality among black women compared to other state regions.

This is a free event and lunch will be provided.
